Student Grievance and Appeals Policy
Operational Procedures
The following procedures shall govern the administration of student grievances and appeals at Wisdom Bible University South Africa (WBU-SA):
Informal Resolution
Students are encouraged, where appropriate, to resolve concerns informally by discussing the matter with the relevant lecturer, supervisor, Head of Department, Admissions Officer, or administrative office before submitting a formal grievance.
Submission of a Formal Grievance
Where informal resolution is unsuccessful or inappropriate, the student may submit a written grievance to the Office of the Senior Registrar or the designated University office. The submission should include:
- Full name and student registration number.
- Programme and level of study.
- A clear statement of the grievance.
- Relevant dates and circumstances.
- Supporting evidence or documentation.
- The outcome or remedy sought.
Acknowledgement of Receipt
The University shall acknowledge receipt of the grievance within a reasonable period and advise the student of the next steps in the process.
