Student Grievance and Appeals Policy

Operational Procedures

The following procedures shall govern the administration of student grievances and appeals at Wisdom Bible University South Africa (WBU-SA):

  1. Informal Resolution: Students are encouraged, where appropriate, to resolve concerns informally by discussing the matter with the relevant lecturer, supervisor, Head of Department, Admissions Officer, or administrative office before submitting a formal grievance.
  2. Submission of a Formal Grievance: Where informal resolution is unsuccessful or inappropriate, the student may submit a written grievance to the Office of the Senior Registrar or the designated University office. The submission should include:
    • Full name and student registration number.
    • Programme and level of study.
    • A clear statement of the grievance.
    • Relevant dates and circumstances.
    • Supporting evidence or documentation.
    • The outcome or remedy sought.
  3. Acknowledgement of Receipt: The University shall acknowledge receipt of the grievance within a reasonable period and advise the student of the next steps in the process.
