Wisdom Bible University, SA (WBU-SA)

Statement of Faith

We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, received by grace through faith, and not earned through good works. It is freely given to every person who receives Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. We believe that all who are saved should pursue a close personal relationship with Jesus Christ and serve Him faithfully as sanctified servants in obedience to His Great Commission.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling presence empowers believers to live godly and victorious Christian lives. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. Those who are saved will inherit eternal life in heaven, while those who reject Christ will face eternal judgment.

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers, who together form the Body of Christ, with Jesus Christ as its Head. This body is the one true Church, the Ecclesia. We believe that through God’s grace, He calls people to repentance and faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We also believe that God’s love, grace, and mercy endure forever.

“Therefore, since we receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we offer to God acceptable worship with reverence and awe.”

— Hebrews 12:28

Biblical Basis

Jesus said:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

— Matthew 28:19–20

The Apostle Paul said:

“The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful people who will be able to teach others also.”

— 2 Timothy 2:2
